Vote Obama!

No one should be doing anything else today but voting, unless you already voted as we did in our respective swing states. Tomorrow morning has the potential to be the best day of our lives. It also has the potential to be a day of utter sadness and despair. If Obama doesn't win (due to racism and the Republican cheating machine), we will be in a period of intense mourning. After two successive disappointments, we don't know how much more we can handle. Vote Obama!

A democratic president does not = bad economic sense

We've posted this before, but how is it possible that Republicans can brainwash people to believe that not taxing the richest people in this country and then spending billions of dollars on a war attacking a state that posed no threat to us will lead to a sound economy? The biggest beneficiary of the war in Iraq are companies like Halliburton which have overcharged Americans for their services in the rebuilding of Iraq. It's a disgrace.
Also-- the fear of Obama turning the US into a socialist country is ridiculous. There are very few socialist states that exist, and providing more affordable health care is not socialism! It's common sense.

Sarah Palin is still an idiot and the idea of her being a heartbeat away from the President should scare you

  • She doesn't read.
  • She admits she knows nothing about foreign or domestic policy
  • She was governor of a state that has less than 7,00,000 people.
  • She is ignorant and and under-achiever in school.
  • She has no control over her teen daughter-- possibly benign neglect.
  • She wants rape victims to pay for their own rape kits.
  • She is corrupt.

Honestly the prospect of her taking one of the highest offices of the land scares us. We're perplexed and dumbfounded how it does not scare more people. What is going on in the minds of people who like and admire her? It is really unsettling how far mediocrity can rise to the top in this country.
